Yesterday, December 7, PA107 a date which will live in infamy the Federation of Magic was suddenly and deliberately attacked by Unlicensed Vampiric forces of Set and the Phoenix Empire.
The Federation Of Magic was at peace with that Phoenix Empire and, at the solicitation of Rama Set, was still in conversation with its Government and its Pharoh looking toward the maintenance of peace in the Magic Zone. Indeed, one hour after Phoenix Vampiric squadrons had commenced bombing in the Federation Enclave of TrollParadise, the Phoenix Ambassador to the Federation of Magic and his colleague delivered to our Knights a formal reply to a recent Federation of Magic message. And while this reply stated that it seemed useless to continue the existing diplomatic negotiations, it contained no threat or hint of war or of armed attack.
It will be recorded that the distance of The Magic Zone from Africa makes it obvious that the attack was deliberately planned many days or even weeks ago. During the intervening time the Phoenix Empire has deliberately sought to deceive the Federation of Magic by false statements and expressions of hope for continued peace.
The attack yesterday on the Magic Zone has caused severe damage to Federation naval and military forces. I regret to tell you that very many Federation lives have been lost. In addition Federation ships have been reported torpedoed on the Ohio River between Merctown, The City of Brass and New Port, the queens domain.
125. The Knight Requests War Declaration
Yesterday the Phoenix Empire also launched an attack against the Merctown Arms Bazaar. Last night Phoenix allied Horune attacked the Merctown Docks: Last night Phoenix aligned Horsemen forces attacked Federation Of Magic allies the Boosterboys. Last night Phoenix Empire Arangar Demonic forces attacked the Federation of Magic allie Ignatos. Last night the Traitor king baki sent forces to take the Simon safe zone. And this morning the Baki attacs the 3rd eye safe zone without Federation sanction.
The Phoenix Empire has, therefore, undertaken a surprise offensive extending throughout the Merctown area. The facts of yesterday and today speak for themselves. The people of the Federation of Magic have already formed their opinions and well understand the implications to the very life and safety of our Magic Zone.
As Commander in Knight of the Federation I have directed that all measures be taken for our defense.
But always will our whole Magic Zone remember the character of the onslaught against us.
No matter how long it may take us to overcome this premeditated invasion, the Federation of Magic people in their righteous might will win through to absolute victory.
I believe that I interpret the will of theFederation of Magic Lord's Council and of the people when I assert that we will not only defend ourselves to the uttermost but will make it very certain that this form of treachery shall never again endanger us.
Until such time that the Vampiric infestation can be properly yoked to serve the interests of the Federation, this state of war shall persist.
Hostilities exist. There is no blinking at the fact that our people, our territory, and our interests are in grave danger.
