Bear is a mysterious vagabond who was trying to sell a truckload of furniture to "the buyer" a really rich guy he heard was in town. Instead he got drawn into a vicious firefight with the coalition where his left arm was blown off at the elbow by a hail of railgun rounds.

Brought to rifts earth from 2012, Bear struggles to survive in a hostile wasteland. The party gave him a suit of broken power armor but that was soon destroyed, leaving him once again destitute, his truck abandoned in the mad flight to evacuate Golden Age Weaponsmiths before it was overrun by the Coalition.
