As of update #75, in the first Shiro's Hex Map, The old GAW city in the Huntsville ruins are in the North West of Hex 0311 (partially obscured by the river).
The land directly to the south of Huntsville is the Tennessee river and then swampy everglades type areas eventually giving into full on ocean.
Guntersville is at the South East side of Hex 0311,  along the Tennessee River is the rebuilt and well concealed homes in Guntersville ruins, the only known surviving GAW settlement.

Characters recently traveled north from the Oil Refinery Army of Thunder base in Huntsville to Cincinnati to battle Nxla, now they are west of Cincinnati near the crashed jet and square 0609.

After rescuing the 5 elders of huntsville who were taken to Cincinnati to be part of the sacrifice to NXLA, the characters get GAW support.

(Looking at the maps, whew there actually is a water way that goes this far north, that makes plot continuity on how GAW managed to move multiple tanks and heavy equipment across hostile wilderness alot easier :)


Loose ends to tie up in between sessions:


Herman:

2) Dirk Diggler wants standing orders for the 3rd recon squad of dune buggy troops.

3) Herman's  Driver Kail AKA NUX the ferocious wants orders

Herman sends many of Dirk's men out on patrol, some are attacked by strange wolves and the GAW men are slain.   Later the party goes to find the missing men and herman has to fight off the wolves, NUX has his throat ripped out and his body is left behind with a dune buggy the wolves diabled.  Herman's dune buggy has its tire bitten off by the wolves, but herman is able to fix it.   Herman shot at the wolves and later used his magic swords on them, seriously injuring one.  The wolves seem to escape when they realize herman is no easy prey.

Bluey:
1)  Major Ban Gunter wants standing orders for his Guntersville 3rd Armored Company,  Bluey tells them to hold position with the rest of the squads.  The order is Infantry, then armored company, then tanks as they drive down the road.
Tin Duhk's head stays wired to blueys bike's nuke power plant which is all thats keeping the head powered and alive.


Caldor:
Rides on one of his tanks until the men go missing in the Dune buggy.  Lets 
Bo, Merl, Riki stay in one of the tanks.


Drago:
1) LT Chromium asks for standing orders for his the Huntsville 9th Infantry Platoon (ordered to stay back at the front of the convoy while drago goes ahead alone)
2) Denali is at Drago's side
3) Magic pidgeon
4) Rogue the Dead Girl tries to break free of Drago's undead enslaving control magic.



Sparticus:

Drago sensed the rift opening to the south.



After the men go missing Drago went forward.

Caldor sees and starts sniping some flying kitani vehicles.  Caldor blasts the head sensor of one to bits with a sniper shot.
They land, and out pours some slave soldiers, giants, troll, ogres.
 They throw up their hands and say they want no part in this battle and that they are slaves just wanting freedom.

From behind bellows a balrog "FIGHT YOU WEAKLINGS, OR DIE!"...




Drago manages to petrify the Balrog, realizing that NXLA is now trapped in the elemental plane of Earth drago fights off NXLA's presence as he reaches out to the earth plane to gather magic ane petrify the demon (saves vs mental posession, or does he?)

Nearby a sucubus with a brass lamp gestures and a  huge tornadow whips up, and starts smashing into the ranks of GAW.

Caldor hides in a Tank and rides out the storm.
Herman and Bluey escape outside the area of the tornadow on their fast vehicles.

Sparticus pulled his men back before the storm hit and is north of the area.

Drago was hit by the winds but his protection wards hold.

Eventually the winds die down and there is no sign of the demons...  Only the statue of the Balrog remains.

Many of the GAW troops are dead or destroyed by the Tornado and the screams of the wounded echo across the field of battle.   #77 will start with surveying the wounded and remaining troops and equipment, it doesn't look good.

Toe Jam the Guntersville Smuggler

Toe Jam is a Smuggler for Bandito Arms from Guntersville, Alabama.


When Bluey was "made" by Bo, Toe Jam was assigned to assist him in Bandito Arms business.  Toe Jam has orders to spy on Bluey and protect the company interests, up to and including neutralizing bluey if he puts the business in danger.

Rogue the Dead Girl

Rogue was controlled by the necromancer followers of Set to spy on the group and direct missile strikes against them.  After Drago used exorcism and control undead on her she is currently resisting eating the brains of Drago's mortal companions.  For now.  She has recently feasted upon enough living creatures where she looks mostly human with only a few slight signs of rot.

She has to eat at least one person a week to keep up her human appearance.

#75 Join Up

East of the Cincinatti airport the characters regroup and consolidate the GAW forces.


Drago's FOM Contract States he will be a lord as long of FOM as he controls these Nexus:

Blueys makes friends with Bo after saving him from the wrecked plane in his hover vehicle.
Bo says he will "make" bluey a Black Marketeer and GAWs  "Rift Runner".
Bo designates Merl and Tin Duhk to will be bluey's mr johnsons contacts to get jobs as a blackmarket "runner" delivering "packages".

Bo also requests that Bluey assign a leader to each of his squads so that the gaw men can survive the coming demon army.

Herman leads 3rd recon, Caldor the 1st tank squad with 4 tanks left, Bluey leads the mechanized 3rd armored Company co led by Major Ban Gunter.  Drago leads the 9th infantry.


Drago detects a rift opening to the north before there is an attack on the group by snipers which miss.

From the edge of a forest near by a strange dead girl watches, then there is a missle strike.  Is she spotting?  Bluey manages to shoot down the missile (barely, did 20md on a lr missle).  The missle was locked on the power supply of bluey's cs hover bike.

The dead girl is controled by 2 tautons, Zorg Servant of Torg the tauton leader.

Jizzel charm impresses sparticus (ooc she is pregnant due to the earlier "encounter")  Sparticus gives her his mystic power armor.

Sparticus has traded away one eye of eyelor to GAW in exchange for his base and gaw support (?) and has another stashed in the secret part of his huntsville base.

Herman has 2 eyes.

Caldor fed his old parasite one eye.

Drago gets many magic pidgeons back, tells Creed he will spy for Tolkeen on the FOM.

Kuda the grey tells Drago via pidgeon he will support Drago's cause he he gains the support of the king and the circle of 12.  Kuda says if this happens he will show them about psyscape.

Herman gets in one of the dunebuggies in his recon squad with a driver Kail AKA NUX the ferocious (yay fury road refrerence)


Drago manages to exorcise the demon controlling the dead girl, and uses control undead magic to keep her from eating the other mortal's brains.  The rest of the demons flee after the missile attack fails.  Caldor tried to shoot the dead girl but it seems shes immune to all but holy objects and magic.


Sparticus uses his powers and calculated that the missle was coming from low earth orbit...

Leaving the army Bo + the leaders  + bluey leave back to ?Huntsvile.
Sparticus wants to stop bluey so he (or was it jizzel)  call lightnings the trailer hitch stalling the retreat.

Drago gets a pidgeon saying Denali will be arriving from dunscon, she arrives on her demon mount through a rift and with drago  nego a contract, same rules as in the charter except its 1/13th of the lands profit not dragos personal income tax like the charter says (no income tax in fom just land profit tax)

Drago promises a nexus to sparticus and writes into the contract that the FOM will leave GAW holdings alone.

Drago also negos getting a "chest of scrolls" once a year in return for his tax payments.

Signs the contract to dunscon with these knights:
Caldor tax knight, estate knights Herman, Bluey, and Princess Shack.


Valen msgs drago back saying plant the tree at a nexus asap or it will die.

The splugorth cant be contacted by drago because he doesnt know it personally.

Dean Vask says in return for relinquishing claims on the childern in the School of Magic he will act as sparticus's lawyer.

Drago's Magic Pidgeons #74.5

Drago spends Four Days & Nights of sending Magic Pigeons:

1.) To Lord Dunscan -"The 3rd and final nexus has been dominated. Nyxla has fallen."

2.) To Valen of the Bagh-Dach Clan of True Atlanteans- "I have petrified Nyxla but its remain seem indestructible. I also have the Millennium Tree with me in Cincinnati. Any thoughts on how to destroy or banish the indestructible? How are you, the Tree Village, its inhabitant, and our tribal neighbors?"

3.) To Spying Splugorth - "In exchange for clearing my debt and perhaps some insights into the secrets of your magic I offer you the petrified remains of Nyxla bridging Newport and downtown Cincinnati over the Ohio river." 

*Drago would love to learn how to be a TW. He spent all night thinking of making a specific item for each of his fellow adventurers. Schematics are in his head (I can email about these later). I was thinking if Drago makes this deal he could maybe spend time in a Time Warp learning, tinkering, and creating these items for the party.

4.) To King Creeed - "I have petrified Nyxla. To win favor with The Federation of Magic I have also dominated three nexus points in the Midwest and Dunscan has invited me to be a Lord in the Federation - an offer I have yet to accept. I have evidence to clear Sparticus and The Army of Thunder of any wrong doing. I wish to speak with you about the state and direction of Tolkein, the C.S. War, and other matters."

*Drago first met King Creed when the Ancient Demon Death of the Four Hoursemen held Drago's ankle as Drago transitioned into a portal before the Circle of 12. Drago also sent King Creed an Apocolyspe 2-B form warning of the Black Plague.

5.) To Kueda the Grey - "I have petrified Nyxla who now lies over the Ohio River between Newport and Nexus, but its remains seem indestructible. I also have a Superior Ring of Revelation, thirst for truck loads of psy-cola, and interest in what this ring can help you see."

*Drago first met Kueda on Feb 28, 2010 with Katrina Sun and again when Drago encountered Death.

6.) To Dean Vask - "I have petrified Nyxla, but its remains seem indestructible. Dunscan wants me to join his Federation as a Lord. How are you Tolkein, the war, the school, and the politics?"

Caldor, is the only adult male Kreeghor in the multiverse. He should get royal kreeghor stat opportunities. Maybe he can start as a level 1 mage or something. This would bring new motivations to his character and make sense in game.

Spartacus, has historically been really invested in his Army of Thunder and almost devastated when it was forgotten, usurped, or otherwise dismissed with little no no RP. Aside from a flourishing and formidable army of adolesants that respect him without question, the only thing Spartacus may want more is perhaps to reach the heralded land of psyscape at some point. 

Herman, wants loot. I have a juicy TW weapon in mind for him. He could use a magic bag the holds a large Costco warehouse inside, but for now he does have two Rune Weapons with personalities he will have to come to know and interact with for better or worse.

Bluey, wants power and maybe some respect. Learing from the Tome's he picked up from the Nyxla loot could help him. I believe he also has one of the Rune Items from the Nyxla loot. The item Drago has in mind for him would make Bluey happy too. 

Lady Naya Cyber Knight - she just wants to be a good girl and the player wants some fun gaming experiences. Drago has a very interesting item in mind for her, actually two items.

Drago wants:
1. ...to secure the Millenium Tree, his lairs and friendly towns, and become a powerful TW.
2. ...to get to know the elemental inside the Crystal Firerod and the entity within the rune whip on his hip.
3. ...to fill each gem in his pouch that he can, with ppe every night while the party rests.
4. ...to hear back from some of the pigeons to perhaps get rid of Nyxla and strike a deal with others in power.
5. ...to learn stone to flesh, eyes of Thoth, and many other spells and magic skills like learning from scrolls better, casting silently, or double casting.

#74 Jet Scavenging Skirmish

The jet touched down down in the western outskirts of the Cicinnati municipal lunken airport ruins.  There is a large rut of ground where it landed hard and crashed through the exterior fence, the jet lies in a smoulderin heap in the grass west of the runways.

PCs get a radio call from lida, seems her party was attacked while scavenging the crashed jet.  They were attacked when they neared hs4 and had to flee the area.  Jizzel was found with the orcs and ogre few hundred meters to the west of hs4 in some light brush outside the airport perimeter.

Lida and Seth Brown, Lt. Fifo Partino escaped. Lida's armor is 1/2 destroyed. Jizzel's armor is destroyed.

Jizzel was caught by 2 orcs and an ogre who were doing vile things to her when Drago and Sparticus saved her.  The ogres head was bitten off by drago, one orc was coma'd and the other killed as well by sparticus's electricity psionics.

Intel gleaned shows a large force of troops building up near by.  The interrogated orc mentioned they are looking for artifacts of Osiris...

3 destroyed Guntersville GAW Smuggler tanks are seen near the plane crash site.

During the events strange curses similar to Old testament start to happen...

Ley Line Phasing (teleport) – can FLAWLESSLY teleport to anywhere on the same ley line including into the air (ley line typically .5 mile to 2 miles tall). Can walk on ley lines or float upon them. (+20% to prowl if floating on ley line). Requires 1d4 melees of deep concentration.  Doesn't know where he teleports to if out of sight but does not end up in other objects like trees or homes.  Automatic ability with No PPE cost.  Max of four phases per hour. Can teleport self and possessions.  Can phase onto other ley lines along a Nexus.

Ley Line Walking or Drifting – virtually becoming a part of the ley line the walker can float along a ley line at a speed of 10 excreting no ppe and no physical energy. Floats 1-5ft unless he concentrates then he can float as tall as the ley line.

Ley Line Rejuvenation – with concentration Drago can double his natural physical healing capabilities (3d4 x 20 per 5min or 3d4 x 4per minute). Once per 24 hours Drago can instantly heal: 20 hit points + 9d6 hit points AND 20 sdc + (12d6 x  9) @ 9th level.  Costs No PPE. Only along ley line.

Ley Line Observation Ball – a blue or white globe of light the size of a soccer ball links to Drago like a third eye. Drago sees and hears all the orb sees and hears. Exists until Drago leaves ley line or it is dispelled.  Typical Observation Ball Stats @ 9th Level: 27 sdc; 4500ft range; Spd 44; Dodge +3;  

Ley Line Forcefield – @ 9th level Drago can place a 104 sdc energy forcefield around himself along a ley line.  Costs 10 ppe activate initially but reactivates automatically every melee round off 10 of the ambient ppe available to Drago (20). Drago must will it to stop otherwise.

Can Learn New Spells -spells and rituals of any magic level can be learned.

Can Supplement PPE -can draw 20 ppe on ley line and 40 ppe on a nexus point. PPE can be stolen from living creatures by killing them! Double PPE of victim at time of death.

PPE Recovery – 7 ppe recovered per hour of sleep or 15 ppe for an hour of meditation which also restores the body as if Drago was sleeping.

#2 Tiny-T was a 5,000lb two year old tyrannosauruses rex when Drago first flew by his predatory kin on January 12th 2012 RL in 106 P.A. The pair of giant lizards bonded instinctively. Tiny has spent most of his time as Drago's familiar gorging at the generous buffet that is the Newport Nexus protecting Princess Shaq and the only remaining Kreegor progeny in the known universe. Drago has been known to cast Giant upon Tiny-T then enhance with Invincible Armor.

Tales of The Dragon (to be continued)

The year was 1994 (RL) when this rumored son of Styphonthal first clawed through his birth egg in a dark Maryland cave. Moments after his first breath a sense of pending attack  a team of Splugorth Slavers with a Murvoma Metzla in tow came hunting for the newborn...

1st Adult Great Horned Dragon:

A small town defended by a modest clan of cybernights asked Drago and Kathmandu to help shun the onslaught of three hatchling dragons and one adult Great Horned Dragon known as Neanderthal. After making quick work of the attacking hatchlings they were joined by an experienced cybernight with a rune dragon sword, as they sought out the layer of the great dragon. After a long dangerous trek the trio infiltrated Neaderthal’s cavernous layer to find an impressive mound or gold, jewels, and magic riches. Drago quickly grabbed a chest of scrolls when only seconds later the Adult Dragon seemingly teleported right before the adventures. Neanderthal was visibly drained and battered from a battle he just evaded. After a series of attacks, counter attacks, and defenses Neanderthal leveled the Knight with one final death blow while Drago read from one of Neaderthal’s own scrolls. As Drago spoke his last word of magic a throbbing pitch black orb zoomed from his hand to the body of the faltering Adult Dragon. Neanderthal’s eye dilated with fear as he miraculously disappeared just before the Annihilation struck (natural 20 to dodge w/no actions remaining). With one of the remaining scrolls Drago resurrected the cybernight back to life. They returned to town as heralded heroes and Honorary Cyberknights!

Open Rift w/Xitixic Swarm:

Yes gentlemen, the rumors are true. With one melee action Drago, the Great Horned Dragon Hatchling, dismantled a rifting xitix swarm with a scroll of Summon and Control Storm. Katmandu was elated. After only 15 minutes the gaming session ended abruptly. (no xp was given)

Xiticix Hive & Queen:

Drago convinced Isis, who suffered from a magic induced amnesia, to help him extinguish an entire Xiticix Hive to get to a Seal at the bottom of it. Drago managed to petrify the Xiticix Queen at the end.

Esteban’s Vampire Caravan

After a series of debilitating encounters and several days without some shuteye Drago decides to recharge his soul in the woods with Mage keeping watch. Little did they know that a Vampire Caravan about 300 deep would soon find them obstructing their path. Master Vampire Esteban sat affront this parade of evil and stopped at the foot of Drago’s massive sleeping Black Dragon form. Mage told the belligerent Esteban that if he wanted the Dragon out of their way, perhaps he should move the Dragon himself. Esteban wasted no time in commanding his minions to do as Mage suggested. Luckily (sixth sense) Drago woke as the Vampries approached the sleeping giant. Drago stretched his wings, puffed his chest, and unleashed a massive roar of fire into the night air. Half the henchmen flad in terror while the rest struck with reckless abandon. Paying no mind to the steadfast immortals and onslaught of projectiles Drago focues his furry in a flying lunge towards the Master Vampire barking orders. Esteban tried to elude the cavernous mouth of the Black Dragon but failed miserably as Drago snapped the Vampire from his throne. A minion launched a missile at the Dragon, but Drago blew fire through Esetban onto the incoming missile both igniting the missile prematurely and temporarily rending Esteban unconscious. With his next thought Drago teleported away with the corpse and looted it for several gems and minor weapons. Esteban came to under the foot of the Dragon then turned to mist and disappeared in the breath of Drago’s fire. We can only assume that he returned to his caravan of hundreds naked, embarrassed, and furious.

2nd C.S. Military Base:

Drago Cuts Off Own Hand for an Undead Pug

What seemed like an innocent attempt to teleport back to Atlantis found Drago opening his eyes to a massive black adult Balrog sporting a bone colored crown. Unable to move, cast, morph, or teleport Drago listened attentively as the Balrog instructed Drago to deliver a pug dog to his spoiled brat of a Balrog daughter. The daughter, wearing a pink crown, shoved Drago through a portal into what Drago learned was the Splynn Dimensional Market. After truncating his own hand, Drago handed it to a merchant necromancer in exchange for a Greater Undead Pug. His babysitter was so overjoyed with her new pet that she failed to notice Drago slip away with the blink of an eye.

Resisting 7 Consecutive Petrification Attempts from Basalisk Not Enough

Travels to Earth Elemental Dimension  Feb 18th 2012 Saw 3 Greater Earth Elementals w/20,000 sdc each. “Mountains”

Drago sees signs of a dwarfs fleeing the Nxla petrification scene. Four greater being turned from myst into snake beings who disappeared after ice blocked dropped upon them. They seemed to disappear as party healed and rebuffed or regrouped.  Drago traded Communication band with optics to the snakemen who told that Bess can be found at the Cliftonk Park stop (6th stop after Marshal).
