The party is lined up at a river going across the path they were driving on towards Dweomer.
Unfortunately instead of the fabled magical city and salvation, they found the river.
Bluey runs off chasing a rabbit on his ATV.
There is a bolder near the road that looks recently flung, a huge dent is in the road and a ditch has been drug from a small impact crater to where the rock now lies. Near the boulder was a beautiful unconscious woman. John didn't seem to like the looks of her (high ppe, inhuman, posession, evil detected vial sense evil and aura) but never the less together he and Thull looked at her injuries. She was near death, and Drago cast healing touch bringing her to a stable coma but no further.
Later Max picked up some radio chatter about someone searching the area for "the package" in both american and goblin languages.
Thull looked her over as well and determined that he could make a mud poltice to save her.
All he needed was deep river mud, and two types of nearby plants, cattails and underwater algae.
Thull convinced Caldor to take off his WarTroll powerarmor and go for a swim. Max offered to help Caldor by plodding along in his watertight columbian powerarmor.
John saw them leaving and cast invincible armor on them using the strangely high ammounts of ambient PPE availible. Everyone has noticed a strange storm front on the north horizon and their hair stands on end, there are also strange effects on magic. Drago finds he can gather about 50ppe/minute currently (its the day of solstice in RL as we played this out :)
He used some of the extra juice on his comrads before passing needing more rest.
Together Caldor and Max went down under the water, found a lot of strange plants and a sunken ship. Caldor swam barely inside a hole in the ships bow and saw a roughly 1/2 human sized egg, he grabbed the egg and ran, Max following him. Neither wanted to press further into the ship despite seeing many unopened creates of cargo and other eggs lying deeper within.
While they were swimming around, John who was critically injured managed to convince hughbot to try healing his shattered leg, destroyed in an earlier encounter with a Vet Harvester. Hughbot would not comply until John climbed into the truck, then hughbots self preservation basecode kicked in and he began to repair anything damaged inside the truck. Hughbot mentioned something medical and started to inject John with something then building and attaching a splint on John's shattered leg. John felt less depressed after this. Previously John had a very strong addiction to psi-cola causing his depression which may be lessening...

Returning to shore Caldor the lizardman victorously punched a hole in the side of the egg and began to gorge himself sloppily on its contents. He failed to notice a crab person had arrived on the oposite shore of the river, and noticing Caldor devouring his fellow crabpersons egg, the crab person began to angrily make crab noises at Caldor. It didn't seem to attack, just acted like a bird trying to drive a predator away from its nest by making a fuss.
soon two more Crab people larger in size gathered with the first one, all of them angrily making crabby noises. Max grew tired of this, unsling his Tolkeen Heavy Assault TW Missle Staff, and launched one of its 3 missles at the crabs. All of them were blown to smitherines, as well cooked and delicious looking crab legs rained down on the beach, a large smoking crater was all that remained. The smoke obscured the oposite beach for awhile...
Max got some more radio signals about search parties for the package.
At this point the girl wakes up and starts speaking in Demongogian. Noone in the group speaks this until John casts Tongues and starts trying to understand her. All she is saying for now are grimaces of agony and moans of I must..survive uuughh.
This doesn't really help much and while they are trying to figure out what to do, suddenly two Psigoblins riding Dinosaurs come running up from the northern road. One carries a C27 and the other a wicked looking knife, seemingly unsure of what to do they stand on the other side of the river sizing up the group's convoy. They dismount and seem to be trying to decide what to do.
At this point three more crab people burst onto the opposite bank, and seeing the body parts of their brethren in the midst of the 2 new comer psi goblins, they immediately start to attack the psi-goblins. The dinosaur mounts watch passively as the plasma goblin starts by blowing through the chest of the first charging Crab person, forcing the others to maneuver around its body. The goblins put up armor of Ithan as the Crab Warriors attack. Knife Goblin gets hit by one of the two remaining crabs after doding the other, his armor of ithan goes down and he starts screaming in agony as the crab claw ripps into is midsection. Luckily plasma goblin manages to get off a lucky shot with his gun, taking the head off the attacking crab who drops knife goblins wounded body onto the beach. Knife goblin staggers off bleeding heavily while plasma goblin engages the remaining crab warrior in a melee, finally killing it as well with a plasma blast.
Finally, after this battle the Psigoblins return their attention on the party. unsure of what to do, they mount up and try swimming at the party. Knowing now that the psigoblins may indeed be a threat, Max again takes aim and launches his second of three TW staff missles at the rapidly moving goblins.
Thull puts a bullet in the eye (head called shot) of the dinosaur carrier knife goblin and he struggles to keep his dino swimming at full speed.
Before they get 2/3rds of the way across the 100ft wide river, he blows the wounded knife goblin to ground chuck and presumably wounds the plasma goblin enough where he is not seen afterwards, presumably drowned or fleeing underwater.

Palladium XP Tracker and Initiative System
From a post in the Un-Official Fans of Palladium Facebook group I just learned the most interesting things.
First up Joshua Krebs has written us a nice little .NET app that lets you track XP for players. As a Unix nerd myself I probably wont use this but the idea seems simple enough to make me want to clone it in java or somehow add it to gametable...

Secondly,
Jeff Nimmy Ruiz posted his excellent initiative system:
"As for attacks/actions/initiative tracker, I normally use a excel spreadsheet. I use the homebrew initiative of taking initiative roll, divide that by your # of attacks and go on specific "segments" .. ie: roll a 23 initiative and you have 5 attacks. you will go on segment 23, 19, 15, 11 & 7. [5 goes into 23 "4" times] Where as the person with 7 attacks and rolls a 19 initiative will go on segment 19, 17, 15, 13, 11, 9 & 7. A user with a Nat 20 Initiative, will always go "first" regardless. On the other hand, I use a penalty in the event that someone rolls low for initiative... say you have 6 attacks and for some reason you roll a 3 total for initiative. You will get to attack on segment 3, 2, & 1 and because you acted so slowly, you lose the rest of your attacks for that melee round."
Could the two somehow be combined into the ultimate Palladium Tracking app?
