4th Level Full Conversion Cyborg ex Wilderness Scout
Thull has lost all 4 of his limbs and 80% of his skin other than his neck and head region was was mostly spared. He how has been rebuilt by Hughbot as a CSLNGR Mark I Frame (p 190 New west) Full Conversion Cyborg. Thull knows that harvesters piloting a Titan Combat Robot were responsible for the missile volley that took out the chop shop Thull was hiding out in, costing Thull much of his humanity.

History:
From the wilds of Alberta, riding on a rusty motorcycle he comes. Thull has since settled down in Corn Row area farming corn.
Thull had 5 brothers and 3 sisters to Wallace and Susan Durgis. Their names were Bob, Clarance, Thesman, Derek and Wallace Junior along with the beautiful Sue-Anne, Shirly and Selma. Thulls father is a raging drunk and his mother died after giving birth to Thull. Because of this they never got along and Thull always felt his father resented him. This caused Thull to have a rather disrespectful and angry attitude, he is Anarchist in nature and doesn’t expect anyone to be on his side, so why should he be on theirs. Thull does have unprincipled leanings mostly around strong mother like figures whom he only got exposed to as a child from his rather bitter aunt. She did teach him some things with hemlock and other poisonous plants that made his older brothers nervous enough to leave him alone…after Thull turned Wallace Juniors face into a giant rash.
Thull was trained by his clan and extended family to live off the land from a very early age. His family did not have much in the way of modern technology and many of their prized possessions had been handed down through the generations. Thull has only seen 2 energy weapons before coming to Kingsdale. When he was 15 his family was attacked by a tribe of Broadkill who killed everyone who resisted and enslaved the rest. Thull was driven out of his old home by them and dreams of revenge.
Thull is uneducated in the extreme, illiterate and very superstitious. That said his clan did have seers and shamans, so he does understand and respect these powers. He has a thick Canadian accent and often has grease and dirt under his fingernails, on his face and or on his clothing. He mostly jokes in analogies related to car or animal parts.
Thull is a rustic boy. His dream is to build a brewery, a garage, and have a decked out pickup truck.. He was the youngest of the brothers and because of this was beaten quite often by his older brothers. His oldest brother Clarance had a moonshine recipe that he shared with Thull the day before he was slain by the Broadkill. Because of this Thull is determined to build his own still and make a barrel in Clarance’s honor.
Thull’s other brother Bob taught him how to fix the family tractor and few working trucks. When Thull was old enough to ride he built himself a motorcycle out of broken parts from other vehicles. Due to the isolated nature of Thulls clan they were very good at Jury rigging things and often went searching ruins for salvagable machine parts.
The clan lived too far north to farm effectively so most of their food came from hunting and gathering. Thull learned holistic medicine, bow hunting, and trap track and skin animals from his Brother/Cousin Thesman. Thesman’s father is actualy Thulls Uncle Hank, who was a skilled tracker and taught the boys the woods around the Clan’s home.
Thull’s small clan had backwards customs including inbreeding , men have multiple wives if they can afford them, and bullets and energy clips are the most priceless of all possessions and to be used only in life or death situations. Otherwise ancient easily replaceable items are to be used if at all possible. Because of this Thull has an almost worshipful cargo cult style relationship to technology. He has no idea how it is made, nor does he know any of its proper upkeep. The Durgiss clan lived in complete isolation from the rest of civilization for many generations, its ancestors may have bought the few technological items but the current clan had no idea their true nature. They had many strange rituals and worshipful traditions related to technology. Thull’s motorcycle was actually partly built of wood, and his people had many vehicles stitched together from whatever natural and technological items could be used to survive better. He actually believes internal combustion is a form of magic where you “pray” to the firegods that live inside the moonshine he makes, to give the vehicle power. That is how the clan primarily powered its ragged fleet, using bio fuels made from distilled plant matter.
Because of this Thull adorns himself with any mechanical parts he can find, thinking they hold some magic power over the firegods.

Disbanded
Drago and Sparticus fly off to Kingsdale in newyork where they buy lots of stuff after meeting a strange man with a disabled hover car. After fixing it they are brought to a strange city near old new york. There they find alot of juicers and mercenaries and a store where drago buys a TW cannon and sparticus buys some armor, a new gun and a tw hover board.
Ronin and the Coyles find tracks and locates the remainder of the orcish force which laid waste to New Wilmar hiding out in a cave. Ronin kills a Gurgoyle that was prowling the area. Then the coyle go hunting and the rest of the survivors camp out and..wait? Will they be left abandoned?
Meanwhile Drago and Sparticus fly to Atlantis at about 100mphs, and after a few hours get to dragos lair on the western coast. The weather is calm…

XP Pleadings
Spartacus deservedly gets xp for each person who died in the boat explosion
however
Drago and Ronon distracted and battled Mavis for a few rounds (Drago going solo for the first chunk of it) while dozens of remaining friends and foe skimpered to…or by default received salvation. Ronin endured several consecutive “Bulls Eye” plasma blasts (something none of us have seen before) while Drago gave Mavis a FLYING BEAR HUG of the SERPENT before he was blown out of the dimension. Each moment they stood to fight they could have ran. Each moment they could have fled for their lives (ironically how the Mage got eaten).
Conclusion: Both Ronon and Drago risked their lives and deserve at least as much credit for overt and repeated (just one or a few mentioned above) selfless acts to intentionally save many lives. I think they deserve XP for each moment they were attemping to save however many lives..
P.S. Drago also had the right of mind to share Tongues with Ronon and later Spartacus (so he could bond with the elf chick he obliterated later). Each were separate and deliberate acts to grant communication in situations where it was not otherwise possible.

I agree our experience points garnered from the Jan 20th session was low, did we actually receive less experience for defending all those people, defeating an ancient dragon, and saving multiple lives then Sparticus did for blowing up a Gnomish hospital boat full of allies (2000+ XP)? That said I do also did have an issue with the XP given for killing innocents, friendlies, and allies. If you burn down a building with 1000 people inside do you get XP for killing 1000 enemies or for successfully setting the fire and destroying the building?
What actual experience was garnered in that - the very last sentence on pg 293 in the Ultimate book “Negative and foolish actions get no experience points.”

Aftermath of the Battle for New Wilmar

Dorgo is with the two Diplomats Dick and Rick. The human diplomat is badly burned and…next to him is the fallen form of Dorgo..

Dorgo is missing much of both of his legs. He passes out.
Kathmandu is alive and well, but very dusty and sallow. He wears nothing but a loincloth. HE and Kash converse somewhat before fading from reality…
Delmer the 3rd level Ley Line walker and 3 1st level coyle db watch survive to tell the tail of MAGE’s sacrafice.
They will request that the players stay still until they can call for backup and determin their next move (the city is still under attack by pockets of orcs and others)
One of the coyles finds heavy armored tracks leading west outside of the city.
He confirms with a surviving witness that strange robots were seen going that direction towing a large cage on wheels filled with prisoners.
AFter a minute or so a forward scout Full conversion borg with a railgun/under mounted mortar runs up and reports Orcs are being slain to the east. He gives instructions to await a formal Envoy which will track the robots out of town to their source, destroying them. Once this is acomplished the envoy will follow them back to the Tree and establish a formal Diplomatic garison near the tree. He deputises the characters on the spot. “The Baroness has personaly sent me, her messenger to tell you of her debt to you and yours for destroying the vile Dragon. Should you accept her offer and become deputized she would be most greatful and could be more inclined to offer military support to your shrine. The orcs must be dealt with, our forces are in tatters and the orcs still ravenge the country side. You must track their heavy armored colomn back to the base of the Hoard. There you will destroy any units you find and perhapse be lucky enough to engage in this supposed “holy war” of yours. I do trust you will agree?

Sparticus survived Nxla
Under Nxla
Sparticus was mind controlled and had to get away from the party. He used an attack of Zombies as a diversion. Compelled to join the services of the “Company” Sparticus did as the Dark Harvester had asked and returned the Titan Robot Vehicle that the party previously stole. With this gesture the Dark Harvester led Sparticus away before anyone of his comrades could realize what was happening. After the turmoil everyone took a sigh of relief only to realize Sparticus was gone with the Titan Robot Vehicle.
After arriving at a destination unknown to Sparticus he relinquishes the Titan Robot Vehicle to a guard. Then he is led into a small room in which a man sits at a large desk in the center of the room and in each corner of the room stands a guard. Sparticus took the seat opposite the man across the desk. And the man explained that before him was a contract and expectations of the signee in exchange for credits equal to services rendered. Still under influential magic Sparticus signed. Then he was led upstairs into a room that contained a Large Crystal. At the moment he walked in a link was created between him and the crystal. He could immediately feel his psychic energy being drained from him as he passed out. While he was passed out he caught a glimpse of Nxla in his mind’s eye as Nxla further compelled him to do the “Company” bidding.
Now that Sparticus was completely at their command they could begin his training, Assassin Training. This is the second time an organization has taken Sparticus against his will to train and use him as a weapon. First the CS and now the Dark Harvesters. Sparticus was to hunt down and kill other psychics for he proved to be very powerful indeed. And Nxla fears psychics that’s why the strongest are sought out for recruitment to exterminate the others. However, he needed to be taught the basics of sensitive psionics if he was to learn to track and sense his prey. For the Dark Harvesters were teaching Sparticus of control and subtlety. So everyday he was taken to train rigorously and when he wasn’t training he was linked to the crystal as his power was transferred to Nxla. Sparticus learned much about the sensitive part of his abilities and how to access the mind further and in turn access the energy of the surrounding world to a new extent.
Sparticus excelled in his training and quickly exceeded any expectations. He was already a trained assassin; they just made him much better at it. He was quickly sent out on missions and decimated all of his targets. It seemed that with his new found stealth, patients and ability to stalk his prey until the most opportune moment made him a very efficient killer. Sparticus killed many high level psychics and quickly racked up 170million credits. Suffice to say many died by his hand. More than the Dark Harvesters could have hoped for, they were all amazed at his power. He astounded Nxla itself, for the plan is to use prisoner psychics as assassins as their power is drained out each night. Most psychics will eventually lose all their power and die. Sparticus was different for some reason no matter how much he was drained of his psychic energy it was still there.
Sparticus had adapted and learned to use his new found sensitive abilities to sense magic energy, a completely foreign concept to him all together. Without having any real knowledge of this new energy source, he knew instinctively to feed off this magic energy and use this magic energy to power his own inner strength. With his new found source of nutrition Sparticus no longer feels the need to eat conventional food anymore. One day as Sparticus is passed out being drained linked to the crystal the party arrives to rescue him and Esrith who has been linked to the same crystal every night after his missions. Sparticus awakes unaware of how long he was in the service of the “Company” all he know is that he has a credit stick for 170million for his services, heart drops as he realizes his quest for inner peace may have had a very violent detour. Now he is back with the party, slightly different but back none the less.
Background:
Spartacus Garth was born to a family in chi-town. Being born with psionic abilities baby Spartacus quickly attracted any nearby dog-packs and psi-stalkers to the house. The local authorities were busting down the door of the house just moments after the boy was born. The CS troops quickly took the baby without explanation and vacated the residence, in seconds it was over like nothing had happened. Spartacus Garth was taken to a Psi-Net facility for the routine screenings mandated by the Psychic Registration Program (PRP). After the screening researchers determined that Spartacus possessed one of the most dangerous and rare of the physical psychic abilities, he was a Zapper. It was clear he could not be allowed to return to his family. The CS troops were sent back to the house to exterminate the family, so as to prevent any questions about the child. Spartacus was kept at a Psi-Net facility were many test were run on him till he was old enough to be shipped out for the Psi-Battalion Program at the ripe age of 4. His youth was spent in a completely locked down facility devoted to the training of Psi-Battalion troops. He endured years of physical and mental training. Being a Zapper he instinctively has distaste for machinery and science and prefers his abilities. Other prominent Zapper qualities like being a thrill seeker, being a bit foolish, and being extremely impulsive, lead him to be reprimanded quite often. Being a constant nuisance to his trainers, the head of the psionic development training program took a general disliking for Spartacus. As a result he assigned him to an engineering program forcing him to spend all his time around machines. On top of that Spartacus was also assigned to Burster training, he would be the first. The CS had recently discovered that with proper training an individual with born natural psionic abilities could develop other abilities not natural to them. Since that discovery the Psi-Battalion have included such training in their facilities. Typically psionic trainees were trained in mind melter and mind bleeder abilities, whatever fulfilled the needs of the CS. Unfortunately, for Spartacus being a zapper and pissing of the guards all the time it made him the perfect candidate for Burster Training. Unlike the other training programs this one is more like torcer, enduring extremely high temperatures he was made to focus his raw psionic energy. Although unsuccessful in his burster training on the day of his 18 birthday Spartacus was assigned to active duty on the Psi-Battalion Gamma team (Magic Zone Operations). On his first mission out the sergeant ordered a raid on a small caravan just outside of St. Louis. When Spartacus found the barrel of his gun pointed at a young boy’s head he hesitated. The Sargent ordered him to pull the trigger. During the haze of shouting and gun fire, Spartacus flashed back on his childhood and hatred brewed in him. Then the sergeant blasted the boy between the eyes and blood splattered on Spartacus’s face. In a rage he zaps the sergeant and flees. Able to lose the rest of the squad in the ruckus he runs panicked. With his unique abilities and life time training in engineering made it no problem for him to disable the (PRP) tracking device in his neck. He needed to get as far away as possible as fast as possible. He knew that the Psi-Battalion would be after him, everyone knows the Psi-Battalion always hunts down their own. One way or another they never let their investments run wild. Lt. Carol Black was notorious for her work on the Psi-Programs, that’s how she made it to the high command and she would never let her division “mess up”. Spartacus decided to run to Free Quebec, but he needed money. He came across a small time crook named Damon. After a botched bank robbery they found themselves in a coalition prison. Before the guards could get a positive ID on him a group of strangers attacked the prison and provided an opportunity of escape.
