#53 Bes's GAW Spire Destroyed

Sparticus and the party fly near GAW trying to land... There is a strange spire of CS make with odd occult markings and long range missile launchers.  Many missiles are fired and 2 Missiles damage the air castle bomber before Sparticus and Herman fly straight in carpet bombing the spire to smithereens along with most of downtown GAW.

Huntsvill clan holdings are all gone.  No huntsville clan members can be found in the bombed out remnants of GAW's downtown sector.  They used to have headquarters and surrounding shanty town there.  As the huntsville clan ruled GAW and were largely already gone at the time of the invasion, mostly CS equipment from invaders #1 and Xombies invaders #2 were destroyed in the invasion #3 conducted by Sparticus.

Little remains of the area but the outskirts shantytown of tents and makshift quarters as well as sparticus's base and oil refinery and the ruins of a police station down the street. most other buildings are rubble after the carpet bombing.

Caldor loots in rubble near the oil refinery sparticus owns and finds 2000cr in a cab on a dead cabby.
He later digs more in rubble and after failing streetwise rolls to find loot he got trapped under some rubble.
A xombie trapped near him eventually arises and slugs it out before being stabbed to 2nd death.  It gets a luck natrual 20 on caldors head and smashes his powerarmors head damaging the voice activation circuits (-10% to rolls using armor)

Later down the street they see a cloaked man stuff 3 kids in chains into the ruins of a buildling.  He casts dust storm obscuring view.  Caldor charges in with Herman close behind in power armor .  They run near the door of where the man hid before a meteor comes down, hitting the plane and sparticus.

Standing around out front they realize they wont fit inside their powerarmor.   They stand around a lonnng time deciding what to do.  Meanwhile sparticus went into his base for awhile.

Finally he came out and realized noone wanted to go into the ruins outside of their power armor.  So he used his psionics and snuck in with a shadowcloak.  Sparticus saw a hag harvestor who had already sacrificed 1 kid and was stabbing another.  He neuro touched her from stealth then used his electric aura before finally sucking up her ppe (since hes now a psi slayer that cant rejuv isp/ppe without killing due to nxla's half sucking out his soul earlier).  after feasting he lets in hughbot and saves 2 kids, ones in a coma.  Lida works on them outside and helps stabilize the comatose one. Finally both are taken to the Soartucus's base.

Players then left the area of the police station ruins and returned to the Army of Thunder Oil Refinery Base

#52 Bar None Massacre

The heavily damaged night club continues to cave in injuring more people and slightly scorching nearby buildings.  Cries of pain accompany a huge dustcloud which chokes the throat of air and blocks vision.. it slowly clears.
The three commanders of the cops you met out front of the duergar owned west side  "Bar None" are identified later by heresay.  The fact that such famous people were dispatched under such short notice means the Bar None owners have very powerful connections to the elite of tolkeen and are not to be taken lightly.

The commander who caught Caldor trying to sneak out the back alley was Warlord Corin Scard.  Scard is one of the circle of twelve which advise King Creed and rule tolkeen kind of like a senate and emperor.

The commander who Drago Petrified was Freehold Megaversal Thulan Kugan the C'ro Demon Mage.   (royalty of the dragon controlled city of Freehold which is a SW suburb outside of tolkeen). Kugan claimed to be the leader of the Tolkeen Civil Defense League which sounds like its been strangely reconstructed by unknown parties. 

The commander who timestoped and dragoncilla'd drago was Greycoat Three, known Temporal Warrior assassin for Lord Balgazar the most powerful Temporal Wizard in Tolkeen.

The Western Quadrant is NOT AoT turf, its the heavy industrial part of the city and is ruled by a different warlord than Stygian.  The two warlords do not get along, sort of how various cops argue over jurisdiction and try to one up each other.
This is why AoT was not welcomed nor had any jurisdiction to act violently in that area.  Warlord Firesol is the commander of the Western Quadrant and oddly enough is known to be a good person while South Quadrant Commander Stygian has rumors of murder and double dealings surrounding her name.  Whether Firesol knows about the incident at bar none is unknown but he is known to have a firey temper.



Cops start  arresting two captains Ted and Randy for multiple murders.  Those two shot missiles
 and destroyed the front of the club as well as many innocents.

As the club continues to cave in the screams of agony from within are heard, there are 2d6+10 club goers still alive in the front wreckage with d6+10hp each loosing 1d4hp/melee. (do players try to save, yes lady naya the cyberknight saves many)

Cops are seen talking to people in the street.  As 2 eyewitnesses colaborate, one flower vendor man "Jak" a block away, and one surviving club goer girl "Zola" who didnt get in line fast enough and was saved obliteration.  3 cops, Scard, 1 Graycoat, and Thulan Kugan (working for Vargeld) with Mask abilities up and in human form. with 2 mage deputies behind each commander.  Scard is leading and very harsh screaming about supposed "Traitors" against tolkeen who would do such a thing to other tolkeenites when the very coalition is knocking at their front door daily with gradually intensifying assault attempts.

Players in back see the dj trying to leave with a very large container and 3 assistant dwarves in enterage. (whats inside?)  The Dj is viciously beating a female roady trying to get her to carry the container but she is too injured from rubble to do so and cries out in pain.  Lady Naya gets him to leave.

Noone checks what he has in the big box though, caldor tries to sneak out the back and is busted by scard and two deputies.  Bluey manages to sneak out and leaves the area.  Lady Naya heals people inside the club who were injured. 

As everyones arging about where to go and the cops are staying to make their reports:

Drago starts talking to Thulan but negotiations sour and petrification magic is cast by drago petrifing Thulan.  Just before thulan was procliaming he lead the Tolkeen Civil Defense league and that they had no right to be in this area destroying things.   The players know the TCDL was once a noble organization destroyed by unknown forces, vampires are the prime suspects.   After petrifying Thull Drago sees greycoat 3 cast some time magic, poisoning the hatchling with concentrated dragoncilla.  Drago starts to pass out trying to battle..  Thulan also managed to cast bottomless pit on Spartacus before he was petrified...After the spell elapsed Spartacus popped back out into normal space.


then the press rolls after another after the cops get there, one cameraman 3 roadies per group show up at different times after the cops, josling for position:

There are a few other cops and fighting happens before Sparticus tells his men to disperse and tells the party to go to the airport to fly out of town.  Drago is left behind to the authorities while the rest of the crew go to the airport. one lida army of thunder follower pile on the jet and race off towards Golden Age Weaponsmiths...    First Caldor takes the cyberknight back to the base for some reason where he finds two cops who were sniffing arond the base beheaded by hughbot who was defending caldors gear as per his programming.  Caldor negotiates the cyberknights silence, erases the crime from hughbots memory and gathers his gear and heads to the jet which is waiting to take off for GAW.



When they get there they see a thin CS built spire with a few long range missle launchers.  It fires on the Jet which dodges and escapes out of the line of fire... GAW seems controlled by the CS due to previous actions of Sparticus there, launching nukes the GAW people had from prerifts times against CS armies that nearly invaded south western tolkeen with a huge skelebot army.

Drago's version of events:

WAR ENCHANTED DRAGO GOES DOWN QUICKLY

Upon hearing that one of the children from Sparticus' Army of Thunder was kidnapped, Drago asked the group if they wished to pursue the perpetrators. Upon reaching consensus the party boarded Drago for a short flight to the Duergars' Nightclub to investigate the kidnapping. Upon approach the dragon's hawk-like vision noticed two suspicious persons by the human sized entrance- one being a large mean looking cyber-dwarf bouncer and the other.... Drago ducked out of sight to confer with the party once more. This time everyone but Drago decided to enter the club. The plan was to enter, fan out, and investigate. The large powerful  great horned dragon hatching landed gracefully before the club carrying: a fully armored female humanoid night, an armored and loaded mutant dogboy, an extra terrestrial biped with thick exoskeleton,  giant sized weapons, and a cool air to him. As Drago saw Caldor first interact with the cyber-dwarf  bouncer a sizable line to enter the club instantly materialized. After a series of peculiar exchanges all the other party members successfully entered the club one way or another, as planned.

Perhaps 10 minutes later ...lo and behold...Drago notices Sparticus approaching. When Spartacus learns that the gang kidnapped one of his Tolkein soldiers Sparticus calls for two more of his Tolkein Soldiers to open fire upon the bouncer and his friend in front of the club. Classic Drago's first action is to armor up with a powerfully brilliant magic armor. A cloud forms in front of the club obscuring vision from the ground so Drago takes flight straight up to surveil the club area for scurrying scum. Seeing nothing out of the ordinary Drago continues to cast enhancements upon himself: multiple image, deflect, and toungues. Seemingly a moment later a fully battle ready flying Drago finds himself beckoned by an obviously powerful Dragon-Mage surround by five or six apparent spell casters.

The Dragon-Mage questions Drago of his "minions". Not having any "minion" in this group, not wanting to divulge information sensitive information to a foe, and not inclined to jeopardize the safety of his party Drago made it clear that the Dragon-Mage was spewing unfounded assuptions. Demanding the Dragon-Mage identify himself, he replies "I am ... Prince of Freehold..."  When questioned on his authority to issue commands upon Drago the Prince declared he was a member of the Tolkein Civil Defense League. Drago again informed the overzealous Prince that he was out of line with yet another assumption. Drago informed the Prince that he is not only a member of the Tolkein Defense League himself but he is also investigating a fresh kidnapping which led to this club. The petulant, incorrigible, and haughty Prince (who is partial owner of the club) carelessly disregarded his failures in thought and authority (ala G.W. Bush) and threateningly persisted levying demands and accusations upon one of the four fully enchanted war ready Great Horned Dragons (unless you rolled 15 or higher vs magic illusion, then you only see one Drago) having little tolerance for unreasonable bullies  during a crisis Drago cast an ancient spell which quickly froze the cocky Dragon-Mage with an incredible look of disbelief represented in a stone statue. The very next moment Drago was inundated by with what seemed to be spells of: adhesion, magic cloud, sleep, among others...
