There is a solar eclipse which effects magic in Huntsville... Drago and Bluey are empowered. Drago uses the power to show others the ritual of create steel mummy. Drago creates mummy pigs from the victims of missle blasted pig remains.
The group gets the pings of enemy radar scans... and then incoming missles.
About 350 pigs remain after missle blasts from an unknown assailent attacked the party.
Hughbot figures out the ritual by watching drago and also manages to create a steel mummy pig from the ambient ppe magic energies.
Caldor's symbiot continues to crave drago after tasting dragon blood. Caldor can almost detect drago with his eyes closed...
After creating the pigs the pigs are left to guard the huntsvill oil refinery base of the army of thunder.
the group rushes to camp Beta... towards the direction the missles came from.
Drago cast invincible armor on everyone and miraculously deflect as well, the eclipses power bending the laws of magic.. (or gems forgetting them ;)
On the way bluey is hit by a medium range missle, his jetbike slagged only his invincible armor protects him from death.
Caldor runs across the ground and hits a few landmines, charging up..
Skimmers and flying quickly apear, shooting weak energy rays and a few mini missles during strafing runs...
Finally reaching the camp they see a huge ruin, there is a tower with 3 heavy guns and duegar manning them. There is also a Naruni Juggernaught hovertank with a duegar sitting in the turret top protected by the forcefield.
The head duegar casts call lightning at caldor, it bounces off caldors force field.
Others get hit by howitzer blasts and much of the magical protections cast upon the group are disapated from the blasts by the start of melee round #2...
The Tank has drive quickly through a rift which appears behind the buildings. The building defenders take aim and you hear the faint sound of evil laughter from the other side of the rift...
